I appreciate the practical tips and encouragment as well as Silva's honesty and transparency. I also appreciated Silva's attention to blended families and acknowledgment of the Father/Daughter relationship that may or may not be biological. Having served in a leadership role at Promise Keepers, I have read lots of books that are supposed to help you become a better man, husband and father. In the end, only a few really help you accomplish that goal. The book #1 Man delivers on all counts!
Great book Mike! Very simple book and easy to read. Excellent tips that I can put to use. The daughters breaking down each chapter.
Thank you Mike and family for encouraging us in the ways that we can live and grow together as a family. I have been surrounded by all boys all my life, except my Mom and wife (poor ladies) its been 3 brothers, a fraternity, two sons, 12 nephews.... but now I have my little girl! I had no idea what to do and was very nervous about doing well as a father to this beautiful soul. How can I be the maximum Dad to her? Now I have these tips and great encouragement. Very helpful, thanks!
